Product Details

Roche CoaguChek PT Test Strips are heparin-suppressing test strips designed for use exclusively with the CoaguChek Pro II coagulation monitor. Compatible with capillary, venous, and arterial whole blood samples, they enable quantitative measurement of prothrombin time (PT), Quick values, and INR (International Normalized Ratio) within approximately one minute. Results are unaffected by high fibrinogen concentrations or low haematocrit values, and the strips are insensitive to heparin at concentrations up to 3 IU/ml blood.

Each pack contains two containers of 24 strips and one code chip. The code chip provides the CoaguChek Pro II system with information on the test method, lot number, and expiration date, and is required for quality checking. Blood application can be made from above or on the side of the test strip application field. Measuring range: 0.8–8.0 INR (5–120% Quick). Sample volume: 8 µl.

How to Use

For use with the CoaguChek Pro II coagulation monitor only. Insert the code chip into the system before use. Apply 8 µl of fresh capillary blood or venous whole blood (without anticoagulant additives) to the application field from above or on the side. Results are displayed within approximately one minute.
