Neocate LCP is a nutritionally complete hypoallergenic amino acid formula designed to meet the nutritional needs of infants with Cow's Milk Allergy (CMA), Multiple Food Protein Allergy (MFPA), or those who require an amino acid formula from birth. Can be used as the sole source of nutrition up to 1 year of age, and in combination with breast milk and/or diet during or after weaning. Infants prescribed Neocate LCP have been shown to experience fast and effective relief from CMA symptoms: significant improvement of eczema and other symptoms within 3 days, and increased weight and complete resolution of symptoms within 14 days in some cases.

How to Use

1. Wash hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area. Sterilise all bottles and teats.
2. Boil fresh water and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes until warm to the wrist. Pour the required amount into a sterilised feeding bottle.
3. Fill the scoop provided with Neocate LCP and level off with a clean, dry knife. Do not press the powder into the scoop. Only use the scoop provided (target scoop weight 4.5g).
4. Add the prescribed number of scoops to the water. Replace the cap and shake until the powder dissolves. Check temperature before feeding.
5. Discard any formula remaining in the bottle after 1 hour of feeding. Do not rewarm formula during feeding.

Warnings

• Must be used under strict medical supervision.
• The quantity of feed and dilution should be determined by a clinician or dietitian based on age, body weight, and medical condition.
• Do not boil formula. Do not use a microwave oven to prepare or warm formula.
• Do not warm formula for longer than 15 minutes prior to feeding.
• Serum levels of micronutrients, particularly phosphorus, should be routinely monitored by clinicians when used as a primary or sole source of nutrition.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
