Product Details

Imodium Capsules contain loperamide hydrochloride 2mg, which works by slowing the movement of the gut to restore the bowel to its normal rhythm and reduce the frequency of loose stools. Suitable for the relief of acute diarrhoea in adults and children over 12 years, including traveller’s diarrhoea and diarrhoea associated with IBS (when diagnosed by a doctor).

Each pack contains 12 capsules. Always read the label before use.

How to Use

Swallow two capsules after the first loose stool, then one capsule after each subsequent loose stool. Take with water.

Dosage

• Adults and children over 12: Two capsules initially, then one after each loose stool. Maximum 8 capsules in 24 hours.
• IBS (adults 18+ only): One capsule after each loose stool. Maximum 4 capsules in 24 hours.
• Children under 12: Not recommended.

Warnings

• Do not use for more than 48 hours for acute diarrhoea without medical advice.
• Seek medical advice if diarrhoea is accompanied by blood, fever, or severe abdominal pain.
• If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other medication, consult a healthcare professional before use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store below 25°C away from direct sunlight.
