A313 Vitamin A Ointment is a non-prescription dermal ointment concentrated in synthetic Vitamin A (Retinol), indicated for the adjunct treatment of irritative dermatitis. The ointment form provides a rich, occlusive texture well suited to dry, localised skin. For cutaneous use only.

How to Use

Apply locally to the affected area once or twice daily. For external use only. Read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.

Warnings

• For external use only
• Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity to any component, or infected or oozing dermatoses
• Do not apply to large areas of skin, under occlusive dressings, on damaged or burnt skin, or on mucous membranes
• Risk of hypervitaminosis A — avoid combining with other vitamin A-containing products
• Use with caution in premature babies and very young children
• Pregnancy: use only if necessary — avoid combining with other vitamin A products
• Breastfeeding: do not apply to the breasts
• Keep out of reach of children
• Consult the package leaflet for full contraindications
